Join Ohm Theory as a Budtender and play a key role in educating our customers on strains, products, consumption methods, and medical marijuana (when applicable). We are seeking friendly, personable individuals who are service-oriented and have experience in retail customer service.
Core Job Duties:
Customer Service Excellence:
- Provide outstanding service to dispensary customers, educating them on strains, products, consumption methods, and medical marijuana (when applicable).
- Handle cash payments and accurately enter transactions into the dispensary POS system.
Visual Merchandising and Inventory Management:
- Maintain the appearance of the retail sales floor through effective merchandising.
- Restock inventory and ensure a clean and organized sales area.
Continual Cannabis Education:
- Stay current on cannabis products and industry trends.
- Embrace a passion for learning and share knowledge with customers.
Sales Achievement:
- Meet and exceed retail sales quotas.
Safety Achievement:
- Ensuring the safety of staff, customers, products, and assets at all times.
- Monitoring security cameras to detect any potential threats or criminal activity, and ensure cameras are operating as expected.
- Regularly patrol the premises (including inside and outside the store) to deter any potential threats or criminal activity.
- Preventing customers or other unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
- Investigating any potential threats or criminal activity and taking appropriate action.
- Reporting any security issues to dispensary management or call in local PD when necessary.
- Enforcing order, safety, and security within the dispensary at all times.
- Developing/implementing standard operating procedures specific to safety and security.
